Maria Alexandra Paparoni Mohamad was born in the City of Mérida, Venezuela and began her musical studies in viola at the age of 11 through the System of Orchestras of Venezuela. She was selected in the National Children's Orchestra of Venezuela where she worked under the baton of great teachers such as Ulyses Ascanio, Gustavo Dudamel and Simón Rattle. In 2014 she won a scholarship to participate in the MusicWords summer course in London. She participated in international tours with the Teresa Carreño Youth Orchestra where in 2016 she served as a regular member under the direction of Maestro Christian Vasquez. She has studied with professor Marvicpermar Urbina, Santiago Garmendia, José Manuel Román and has participated in master classes at Queens College of Music with professor Daniel Phillips. Paparoni is pursuing his Bachelor of Music degree at the Manhattan School of Music with Daniel Avshalomov.
